Disposal
Once full, the container must be disposed of according to current law. If incinerated, the container does not release any toxic emission
* What is the double lid for?
Containers from the Waste family are equipped with a double lid (DUO). The central port of this cover (fitted with a temporary closure and therefore temporarily re-opened during use) allows a limited dispersion of odours and gases deriving from the disposal of, particularly dangerous and toxic waste such as cysostats and cytotoxics, the result of chemotherapeutic treatments.
** Why is there a glue?
The DUO lid and the single lid (MONO) are equipped with a special perimetric glue which ensures the sealing of the waste parts in liquid form inside the container, in compliance with the relevant ADR provisions.
